Get answers to common questions about Toes.
Most clients experience brief stinging or tugging during treatment; sensations usually subside within minutes. We use high-quality wax and gentle technique to minimize discomfort. Post-care soothing gel and cold packs further reduce irritation for a comfortable recovery.
Clean, dry skin is best — avoid heavy lotions on the day of your appointment. Hair should be at least 1/4 inch for effective removal. Exfoliate a few days prior and avoid sunbathing or self-tanners before waxing.
Results vary by individual, but most clients enjoy smooth toes for three to six weeks. Regrowth rate depends on hair type and hormones; regular waxing can lead to finer, sparser regrowth over time, extending the intervals between appointments.
When properly performed, waxing reduces ingrown hair risk, but some clients may experience bumps or ingrowns. We recommend gentle exfoliation, topical remedies, and professional aftercare. Contact us if irritation persists; we’ll advise treatment and follow-up to prevent complications.
Generally toe waxing is safe during pregnancy, but heightened sensitivity and circulation changes can increase discomfort. Tell your technician about pregnancy or hormonal shifts. We can adjust pressure, product, and timing, and recommend patch tests or alternative hair removal if needed.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, and tight shoes for 24–48 hours. Keep the area clean, apply soothing aloe or recommended lotion, and gently exfoliate after a few days to prevent ingrown hairs. Use SPF if sun exposure is expected.
