Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Neck to Toe.

A Neck to Toe appointment typically takes 60–90 minutes depending on hair density, skin sensitivity, and any consultation. We include prep, waxing, and aftercare guidance. First-time clients may need a bit more time for assessment and personalized comfort measures.

Most clients report brief discomfort rather than intense pain. Our technicians use fast, precise strips, calming techniques, and high-quality wax to reduce sensitivity. Applying numbing cream beforehand can be arranged in some cases; aftercare also helps minimize post-treatment soreness.

For best results, grow hair to about 1/4–1/2 inch so the wax can grip properly. Avoid shaving for at least three weeks, exfoliate lightly 48 hours before, skip retinoids, and arrive clean and lotion-free for treatment.

Expect smooth skin for three to six weeks depending on your personal growth cycle. With consistent waxing, regrowth often becomes sparser and finer, extending intervals between sessions and improving long-term skin texture.

Neck to Toe waxing is generally safe during pregnancy, though sensitivity can increase. Many clients avoid waxing in the first trimester. Tell your technician if pregnant or nursing; we’ll adjust pressure, products, and positioning to prioritize comfort and safety.

Aftercare includes applying soothing lotion or aloe, avoiding hot baths, saunas, and intense exercise for 24 hours, and not exfoliating immediately. Resume gentle exfoliation after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and maintain smooth results.
