Get answers to common questions about Lower Stomach Strip.
Most clients feel brief pinching or stinging during wax removal, quickly subsiding after each strip. Our experienced technicians use temperature-controlled wax and calming techniques to minimize discomfort; breathing and relaxation help. Pain decreases with regular sessions.
Come with clean, dry skin and hair about a quarter-inch long for best results. Avoid heavy creams, sunburn, tanning, or exfoliating the area within 24-48 hours. Allow four to six weeks since last shaving.
Typical regrowth appears in three to six weeks, depending on hair growth rate and hormones. Individual results vary. With consistent waxing, hair often becomes finer and sparser, and scheduled maintenance appointments help keep the area smooth longer.
We evaluate skin during consultation. Sensitive or recently irritated skin may require postponement or patch testing. Our estheticians use gentle wax formulas and aftercare to reduce irritation; always disclose medications, recent treatments, or skin conditions before service.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense workouts, and sun exposure for 24-48 hours. Wear loose clothing and avoid tight waistbands. Apply a soothing, fragrance-free moisturizer or aloe and avoid exfoliation for 24-48 hours; resume gentle exfoliation after two days to prevent ingrown hairs.
Appointments are usually quick, often 10-20 minutes including prep and aftercare discussion. Timing depends on hair amount and client comfort. Longer sessions for multiple areas or consultation may extend time; allow extra for first-time clients.
