Get answers to common questions about Full Legs & Feet.
Most clients enjoy smooth results for three to six weeks depending on hair growth and individual cycles. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and lengthen intervals. Results vary; schedule maintenance every four to six weeks for consistently smooth legs and feet.
Some discomfort is normal but brief; most clients describe a quick, tolerable sting. Our technicians minimize pain with proper skin prep, swift strip removal, and soothing aftercare. Topical numbing or calming serums are available by request for highly sensitive clients.
Ensure hair is about a quarter-inch long so wax can grip. Avoid exfoliating or using retinoids 48 hours before, skip heavy lotions or deodorants, and avoid sunburn. Hydrated, clean skin allows for a quicker, more comfortable waxing session.
Waxing is generally safe during pregnancy, though increased sensitivity and circulation changes may make it a bit more uncomfortable. Tell your technician about pregnancy status; we’ll adjust technique and avoid certain products. Consult your healthcare provider if you have complications.
Avoid hot showers, saunas, strenuous exercise and sun exposure for the first 24 hours. Use gentle, fragrance-free moisturizers or aloe, and wait 48–72 hours before exfoliating to prevent irritation. If bumps appear, apply a calming antiseptic or contact us for advice.
Waxing generally reduces the frequency of ingrown hairs versus shaving, but they can still occur. Prevent them by exfoliating gently after 48–72 hours, keeping skin moisturized, using gentle chemical exfoliants like salicylic acid, and wearing breathable clothing. Regular professional waxing also helps minimize ingrown hairs over time.
