Get answers to common questions about Chin & Neck Strip.
Most clients enjoy smooth results for four to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycles and hormones. Regular waxing often slows regrowth, producing finer hair. Schedule touch-ups as recommended by your esthetician for consistently refined chin and neck skin.
Waxing can cause brief discomfort, but our experienced estheticians use gentle technique and quality wax to minimize pain. Topical numbing or cooling may be offered, and post-wax soothing products reduce sensitivity for a comfortable recovery.
Clean, dry skin and at least a quarter-inch of hair growth ensures the wax grips properly. Avoid retinoids, exfoliation, heavy creams, and sun exposure 48 hours before your Chin & Neck Strip appointment.
Generally schedule treatments every four to six weeks based on individual growth patterns. Consistent waxing over time reduces density and delays regrowth; your esthetician will recommend an ideal frequency for best, lasting results.
Temporary redness, mild bumps, or sensitivity is common and should subside within hours to a day. To prevent ingrown hairs, exfoliate gently after 48 hours and use recommended soothing or antibacterial products if needed.
Avoid waxing if you have sunburn, open sores, active acne cysts, recent chemical peels, or if you’ve used isotretinoin within six months. Discuss medical conditions, medications, and pregnancy with your esthetician before booking.
