Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Buttocks & Buttocks Strip.

Most clients report only brief, manageable discomfort. Our technicians use firm technique and quality wax to speed removal and minimize pain. Numbing cream can be applied on request. Communicate with your provider for adjustments, and sensations subside quickly after treatment.

Ideally hair should be about 1/4 inch (roughly 6 mm) for thorough removal. Shorter hair may be missed and longer hair can be trimmed for comfort. If unsure, we can assess and trim as needed at your appointment.

Schedule every 4 to 6 weeks for consistent results and to catch new growth at the optimal length. Individual cycles vary with hair type and hormones; regular waxing often leads to finer regrowth over time.

Buttocks waxing is generally safe during pregnancy, though sensitivity and comfort levels can change. If mobility is limited or you have medical concerns, consult your obstetric provider first and inform your technician prior to service.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, and heavy sweating for 24 hours. Apply a soothing, alcohol-free moisturizer and begin gentle exfoliation after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs. Wear breathable clothing and avoid tight garments for at least one day.

We cannot wax over irritated, sunburned, broken, or infected skin, or areas recently treated with retinoids or chemical peels. Inform us about medications, skin conditions, or recent procedures so we can advise or reschedule safely.
