Get answers to common questions about Bikini Mask.
The Bikini Mask soothes post-wax irritation, cools inflamed skin, and delivers nourishing ingredients that replenish the skin barrier. It helps reduce redness and swelling, minimizes ingrown hairs by calming follicles, and promotes a smoother, more comfortable recovery after waxing.
Yes. The mask is formulated for sensitive skin using gentle, calming botanicals and cooling agents. Our estheticians assess your skin first and choose products to reduce irritation and inflammation while supporting healing. Patch tests available for extremely reactive skin.
You can shower gently after the mask if water is lukewarm; avoid hot showers for 12–24 hours. Use mild, fragrance-free cleansers and avoid prolonged soaking, exfoliation, or tight clothing to allow the treated skin to fully calm and heal.
The mask significantly reduces the risk of ingrown hairs by calming follicles and helping clear debris, but no treatment can guarantee complete prevention. Combining mask applications with proper exfoliation and follow-up home care maximizes results and lowers recurrence.
We recommend applying a Bikini Mask immediately post-wax and considering follow-up treatments every one to two weeks for persistent irritation. For routine maintenance, include the mask as needed after each waxing appointment to soothe skin and reduce ingrown hair formation.
Side effects are rare but may include mild temporary redness, tingling, or sensitivity, especially with very reactive skin. If you have allergies to ingredients, tell us beforehand. Your esthetician will perform a patch test or adjust products to minimize reactions.
