Get answers to common questions about 1/2 Buttocks.
Most clients feel brief discomfort during hair removal, but experienced technicians use soothing techniques and premium wax to reduce pain. Numbing options are available on request; overall tolerance improves with regular appointments and proper pre-care.
Results vary by hair growth and individual factors, but most clients enjoy smoothness for two to six weeks. Regular waxing can slow regrowth over time and produce finer, sparser hair, extending time between appointments.
Exfoliate gently a few days before and avoid heavy lotions or oils on treatment day. Keep hair around quarter-inch long for effective removal. Stay hydrated, and inform your esthetician about any skin sensitivities or medications.
We assess each client before waxing. Minor sensitivity may be accommodated with gentle wax and aftercare, but active irritation, sunburn, open wounds, or certain medications require postponement. Always disclose skin conditions to your provider for a safe treatment.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, tight clothing, and vigorous exercise for 24 to 48 hours. Apply soothing, fragrance-free lotion and avoid sun exposure. Gentle exfoliation can resume after 3 to 5 days to prevent ingrown hairs and maintain smooth skin.
Contraindications include active skin infections, recent chemical peels, sunburn, open wounds, certain skin conditions, and some blood-thinning medications. Pregnant clients should discuss concerns. We perform a consultation to confirm suitability and recommend alternatives when necessary.
