Get answers to common questions about Neck.
Most clients experience smoothness for three to six weeks depending on hair cycle and growth rate. Regular sugaring weakens follicles over time, often leading to finer, sparser regrowth and longer intervals between appointments.
Sugaring reduces irritation compared with waxing because it removes hair in the direction of growth. Proper technique and aftercare minimize ingrown hairs. Exfoliate gently and keep the area moisturized; consult us if persistent bumps or irritation occur.
Ensure hair is about 1/4 inch long and clean—avoid heavy lotions, oils, or recent sun exposure. Gently exfoliate 24-48 hours prior to remove dead skin, and avoid retinoids or strong acids for several days before treatment.
Sugaring is generally safe during pregnancy, but consult your provider if you have specific medical concerns. Sensitive skin or certain conditions may require patch testing or modified technique—our estheticians will assess and adjust accordingly.
A neck sugaring appointment typically takes 15 to 30 minutes including consultation and aftercare instructions. First-time clients may require slightly more time for skin assessment and customized technique to ensure comfort and optimal results.
Avoid hot showers, saunas, intense exercise and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Gently exfoliate after 48 hours, moisturize with non-comedogenic lotions, and avoid harsh chemicals. Follow our at-home care recommendations to reduce irritation and extend smooth, refined results.
