Get answers to common questions about Lower Legs with toes.
Most clients enjoy smooth skin for three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth cycles. With regular appointments, hair often grows back finer and more slowly, extending time between sessions. Factors like hormones and medications can affect duration.
Sugaring is gentler than waxing; the warm paste only adheres to hair and dead skin. Most clients report mild discomfort, not sharp pain, especially around toes. Technicians use gentle technique and breathers to minimize sensitivity for a more comfortable experience.
Arrive with clean, dry skin free of lotions or oils. Allow hair to be about quarter-inch long. Avoid sun exposure, self-tanners, or exfoliation 24-48 hours before. Discuss medications or skin conditions with your technician beforehand.
Avoid shaving between sugaring appointments—razors remove hair at the surface, disrupting growth cycles and reducing effectiveness. If necessary, trim lightly with scissors, but aim to let hair regrow naturally to the recommended length for the best sugaring results.
You may shower after 4–6 hours using lukewarm water and a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser. Avoid hot baths, saunas, and intense exercise for 24 hours. Pat skin dry and apply a light, non-comedogenic moisturizer to soothe and protect treated areas.
Certain conditions make sugaring unsuitable: active sunburn, open wounds, severe psoriasis, or recent laser treatments. Inform us about pregnancy, blood-thinning medications, or skin infections. A consultation will confirm safety and may suggest alternative treatments if needed.
