Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Forehead.

Most clients enjoy smooth forehead skin for 3 to 6 weeks, depending on hair growth cycles, hormones, and personal care. Regular sugaring can slow regrowth and make hairs finer, extending time between appointments.

Sugaring is generally less painful because the paste adheres to hair, not skin, and technicians remove in the direction of hair growth. Clients report less stinging and shorter redness duration; numbing options are available if needed.

Cleanse the area and avoid heavy creams or makeup on the forehead. Let hair be at least 1/4 inch long (about two weeks’ growth). Exfoliate gently 48 hours before and avoid retinoids or sun exposure prior.

Avoid heavy makeup, saunas, intense sun, and exfoliation for 24–48 hours. Apply a gentle soothing serum or aloe and use SPF when outdoors. Gentle exfoliation after 48 hours helps prevent ingrown hairs.

Forehead sugaring is suitable for many sensitive skin types, but we require a consultation for active acne, open wounds, eczema flare-ups, or recent injectable treatments. Patch tests and tailored techniques ensure safety.

Most clients book every 3–6 weeks depending on personal hair growth. After several sessions follicles weaken and regrowth slows, allowing longer intervals; your technician will recommend a customized schedule.
