Get answers to common questions about Underarms.
Allow hair to grow about a quarter inch so the wax can grip properly. Avoid deodorant on the day, exfoliate gently 24–48 hours before, wear loose clothing, and disclose medications or skin conditions to your technician.
You may feel brief discomfort as hair is removed, but skilled technique and quality wax reduce pain. Technicians use quick, efficient pulls, soothing pre- and post-care, and can offer tips or topical numbing if needed.
Most clients return every four to six weeks depending on individual hair growth. Regular waxing often leads to finer, sparser regrowth over time, which can extend intervals between appointments.
Waxing can reduce ingrown hairs compared to shaving, but they may still occur. Prevent recurrence with gentle exfoliation, proper moisturization, loose clothing, and recommended products; consult us for targeted treatments if persistent.
We don’t wax freshly shaved skin—visible hair is required for safe removal. If you have sensitive skin, tell your technician; we can use gentler waxes, perform a patch test, and apply calming aftercare.
Keep the area clean and avoid deodorant, saunas, hot tubs, and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Use soothing, non-irritating lotion, skip heavy workouts for a day, and begin gentle exfoliation after 48 hours.
