Most clients require 3–6 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart to progressively reduce hair. Final results depend on hair color, thickness, and hormonal factors. A consultation evaluates your needs and provides a personalized session plan and realistic timeline for permanent reduction.
Most clients describe mild discomfort similar to a rubber-band snap or warming sensation. We use topical numbing and cooling devices to minimize pain. Intensity varies with skin sensitivity and hair thickness; providers adjust settings to keep treatment comfortable and effective.
Modern lasers have settings for a wide range of skin tones, but safety and effectiveness vary. We perform a skin assessment and may adjust energy levels or recommend alternative methods for very dark or sensitive skin to reduce risk of pigment changes.
Avoid plucking or waxing the brow area for four to six weeks before treatment so follicles remain. Shave or trim visible hair 24–48 hours prior, avoid sun exposure and tanning, and disclose medications or medical history during consultation.
Expect mild redness or swelling for 24–48 hours. Apply soothing aloe or prescribed ointment, avoid direct sun and exfoliation for a week, and skip harsh facial treatments. Follow scheduled maintenance sessions for optimal permanent reduction.
A single session reduces active hairs but typically does not remove all growth permanently. Hair follicles are progressively disabled over multiple sessions; maintenance treatments may be recommended. Results vary with hair cycle, genetics, and hormones—expect gradual, lasting improvement rather than immediate permanent removal.
