Most clients need six to eight sessions spaced four to eight weeks apart. Results vary with hair thickness, hormonal factors, and skin type. Maintenance treatments may be recommended once or twice yearly for lasting reduction.

You’ll feel brief, mild sensations—often described as a rubber-band snap—during pulses. We use cooling and can apply topical numbing on request to improve comfort for sensitive clients. Most clients tolerate treatments well and resume normal activity immediately.

Modern lasers (diode and Nd:YAG) can safely treat many skin tones when settings are adjusted. A consultation and test spot ensure safety and effectiveness; darker skin may require specific device selection.

Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least two weeks before treatment. Shave the area twenty-four to forty-eight hours prior, stop waxing or plucking, and avoid photosensitizing medications unless cleared by your provider.

Keep underarms clean and moisturized, avoid hot baths, saunas, and heavy exercise for twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Use sunscreen on exposed areas, avoid picking, and expect treated hairs to shed over several weeks.
