Most clients require six to eight sessions spaced four to eight weeks apart to target hair during active growth phases. Skin tone, hair color, and hormonal factors influence the exact number; your technician will provide a personalized plan.
Most clients describe mild discomfort similar to a rubber-band snap. Built-in cooling and adjustable settings minimize pain, and topical numbing can be offered for sensitive skin. Discuss comfort options during your consultation.
We use devices and settings suitable for various skin tones and sensitivities. A consultation and test patch determine the safest parameters. Darker skin may require specialized wavelengths to reduce pigmentation risk.
Avoid plucking, waxing, or bleaching for at least four weeks and shave 24 hours before your visit. Skip tanning and active retinoids beforehand, and bring a list of medications and prior skin treatments.
You may experience mild redness or swelling for a day or two. Apply recommended soothing products, avoid sun exposure, and skip harsh exfoliants for about a week. Follow scheduled touch-ups and contact us for any concerns.
Lasers target pigment, so fine or very light hair can be more challenging and may respond less effectively. Some improvement is possible; alternative technologies or combined treatments may be recommended after a test patch and consultation.
