Get answers to common questions about Microdermabrasion Facial.

Your esthetician will cleanse skin, perform gentle microdermabrasion with a controlled suction wand, then apply calming serums and SPF. The session lasts about 30 to 45 minutes with minimal discomfort; most clients experience immediate smoother, brighter skin and little to no downtime.

Many clients see improvement after a single session, but a series of four to six treatments spaced two to four weeks apart yields optimal texture, brightness, and line reduction. Maintenance every one to three months helps preserve results, depending on skin goals.

Most clients describe a mild scratching or vibration sensation but report little to no pain. Treatments are adjustable for comfort, and our technicians monitor skin reaction. Temporary redness or sensitivity may occur but typically resolves within hours to a day.

Not recommended for active acne with open lesions, rosacea flare-ups, eczema, recent chemical peels, or sunburned skin. Pregnant clients should consult their provider. Our team evaluates medical history to determine suitability and may recommend alternative treatments.

Avoid heavy exfoliation, retinoids, and waxing for at least three to seven days before treatment. Arrive with clean skin and inform us of medications, allergies, or recent procedures. We’ll provide personalized pre-appointment instructions during booking.

You’ll notice immediate smoothness and improved radiance; results last longer with a recommended treatment series and proper maintenance. Aftercare includes daily sunscreen, gentle cleansers, and avoiding aggressive exfoliation or heat for two to three days. Follow-up sessions extend benefits.
