Get answers to common questions about Geneo Glam + LED Therapy.

Geneo Glam + LED Therapy addresses hyperpigmentation, uneven tone, fine lines and loss of elasticity through exfoliation, oxygenation and collagen-stimulating LED light. It brightens, firms and improves texture, making it effective for discoloration and early signs of aging.

Treatments are comfortable and generally pain-free. Some clients feel mild warmth or tingling during LED light and oxygenation. There is virtually no downtime — you can return to normal activities immediately, with occasional temporary redness that subsides within hours.

For best results we recommend a series of three to six treatments spaced two to four weeks apart, followed by maintenance sessions every one to three months depending on skin concerns and desired longevity of brightening and firming effects.

It can significantly improve many forms of hyperpigmentation, including some melasma cases, by promoting exfoliation and targeted light therapy. Results vary; severe or hormonal melasma may require combined medical treatments and ongoing sun protection for optimal long-term control.

Generally safe for most skin types, including darker tones, because oxygenation avoids heat-based risks. However, certain conditions—active acne cysts, open wounds, photosensitizing medications, or pregnancy—may require modification or deferment. A professional consultation ensures safety.

Aftercare includes daily broad-spectrum SPF, gentle cleansing and hydrating products, and avoiding aggressive exfoliants or retinoids for 48–72 hours. Keep skin moisturized, avoid prolonged sun exposure and tanning. Follow personalized product recommendations from your clinician for optimal healing and lasting results.
